Bucks County, Pa

Bucks County is located north of Philadelphia and is famous for General George Washington's successful crossing of the Delaware River in Upper Makefield Township during the Revolutionary War. The county is steeped in history and is home to The Mercer Museum and The Moravian Pottery and Tile Works, both National Historic Landmarks. The home of Nobel prize-winning author and humanitarian, Pearl S. Buck, is also a National Historic Landmark museum located in Perkasie. Bucks County is a desirable place to live, work, and play due to its proximity to Philadelphia and New York City, quaint shopping in Peddler's Village, nature trails, and recreation in the many parks, and the vibrant art, culture, and riverside restaurant scene in New Hope.
